Pet Care: Train your pet-know your pet

Introduction: Just as small babies need to be trained about how to behave properly and be social, so must pets. Before training your pet it is mandatory to know your pet. Here we are telling you how to know your pet better and train him.

Body Language of your pet: We all know if your pet is playing with you, he loves you and is happy with you. However, pet care is not that simple. Pets say lot of things with their notions, gestures, and moans. If a pet is screaming, he may be happy, sad, confident or scared, ready to fight or want to go for a walk. This is why you need to know your pet’s body language. If u know this skill, it is easier to talk to your pet. You can deal with his problems and need in a better way knowing his body language.

Interpreting your pet’s noise: Body language is a way to talk to others. However, you will have loud voice conversations too while doing pet care. Just like you, they also do not understand your voice. You can specify some sort of voices and gestures for some special task. You can represent some of the tasks with different tones of your voice or words and make your pet practice it. Slowly he will learn that whenever you make that sort of noise he has to react with this task.

The one many important thing people forget to teach their pets is to teach them stop screaming. If your pet is screaming for any random reasons, first you need to know if he is in any problem. If he is making noises with no reasons, you need to teach them how to stop. Just use any of the gestures or world and repeatedly make your pet practice it. You will see after a time that whenever you use that word or gesture towards your pet, he will stop making noise.

Things to remember while training your pet:  A pet’s mother teaches him very basic skills to survive in this world. Now you are the one who needs to go further for his education. Training your pet starts the day you bring it home. In young age, pets learn better than in older age. 

Before you jump in to train your puppy, remember they did not born with skills. Sometimes they may irritate you or leave you angry, but remember this is what the pet care is all about, patience & care. They do not know what you expect from them. Starting from gestures to words, they need to understand everything from zero. It is very necessary in pet care to praise your pet when he performs a task in a good way. Teach them what stuff they need to touch and what not. It is more challenging than training your own kid. But believe me when your pet is educated you will love them just like your kid for being so social and moral.
